SAve article:

In Question Time in Parliament today, Labor’s Environment Minister, Lily D’Ambrosio refused to rule out increasing Victoria’s bin tax to pay for Labor’s budget black hole.

Last week the State Treasurer announced that the Andrews Labor Government will be imposing $4 billion of cuts on Victorians and refused to rule out new, or increased taxes.

This is despite Victorians already struggling to make ends meet in the highest taxed state in the country.

Comments attributable to Shadow Minister for Environment and Climate Change, David Morris:

“Recycling is going to landfill and Victoria’s waste management is in crisis, and yet the Andrews Government won’t rule out more increases to the bin taxes Victorian families are forced to pay. This is the cost of Labor.

“Andrews has blown the budget and we know that when Labor runs out of money it comes after yours.”
