    What are the possible solutions?

    Attempts to discourage visitors to the pillars haven’t worked. We need to develop strategies to properly manage the site, protect the environment and meet the needs of the local community.

    Potential approaches include off-site parking, dedicated transport services or a low-impact pathway or boardwalk.

    We need to develop realistic solutions that balance the legitimate concerns of local residents and manage access to what has become, with no encouragement, a major attraction.
